M to M of M/M (Paris)
Thames & Hudson, £42
M/M (Paris) have set a new benchmark for the monograph. Their tome M to M of M/M (Paris), Thames & Hudson, £42, was twelve years in the making. Arranged alphabetically from the middle, the design (by Graphic Thought Facility) breaks rules, presenting lots of content (including their work for Björk, pictured) big and bold on floppy Bible paper, with extensive commentary from clients and friends.
This will be reviewed at length in Eye 85.
