Anthony Burrill’s graphics for Jenny Packham at London Fashion Week

‘It was all my favourite things in one place,’ says Anthony Burrill, delighted by his latest venture into the world of high fashion.

Burrill designed the set for Jenny Packham’s catwalk show last Tuesday during London Fashion Week, and the music was by French laptop duo Acid Washed, also Burrill’s clients and collaborators. You can read an in-depth interview with Burrill in the forthcoming Spring issue of Eye, out in March.

I Feel Love by Anthony Burrill

Burrill’s set was entirely black and white, using large format digital prints in collaboration with production company S2. All colour comes from the lighting and the dresses. The catwalk performance, which took place at The Hospital in London’s Covent Garden, lasted fifteen minutes. Photos by Anthony Burrill.

Eye, the international review of graphic design, is a quarterly journal you can read like a magazine and collect like a book. It’s available from all good design bookshops and at the online Eye shop, where you can order subscriptions, single issues and (new!) classic collections of themed back issues. Eye 74 is a Berlin special.
